Basso admission 07/05/2007 Admission statement ID 114
Basso admitted involvement in Puerto to avoid a DNA test. He claimed not to have actually doped but to have intended to do so. In 2013, he gave evidence at the Puerto trial which was contradicted by Fuentes' own documents and suggested EPO use.
