Draaijer death 27/02/1990 Medical emergency ID 364
Draaijer's widow claimed the rider had died after using EPO, despite an inconclusive autopsy. Other athletes died in apparently similar circumstances in 1990 but the causal link between their deaths and EPO abuse is strongly disputed as a popular hoax.
